    What To Expect:

    Your Detailed Report

A thorough chimney camera inspection report for your chimney and fireplace is completed like a home inspectors report. It clearly explains information about the chimney components and why they need repairing.

Pictures of your entire chimney interior are documented and shown on the report. This gives you full access to all pictures from the inspection in the report. We ensure that you are informed every step of the way, so that you can make the right decisions about any needed repairs.

The detailed report will be given to you by paper and email. The report includes all components of your fireplace and chimney condition. It also includes whether it your chimney is up to code and meets NFPA 211 standards.

Our reports include detailed and easy to understand descriptions of your code violations or necessary repairs. An estimate for any necessary repairs is emailed, but we don’t do any repairs without your approval. If approved, we can schedule an appointment to perform the repairs as soon as possible.

    “Up to Code”:

    Why Does it Matter?

You may be wondering why it even matters if the inside of your chimney isn’t up to code. Having a chimney that’s not up to code may not directly affect your day to day life- but it could be putting your family at risk for safety concerns. Without proper relining for example, using your fireplace can become hazardous and even life threatening.

Chimney lining is essentially a layer of protection for your chimney. It insulates heat escaping the chimney flue when the fireplace is turned on. When the chimney lining is deteriorated, it can cause a number of dangerous predicaments. Having your chimney up to code standards doesn’t just keep your family safe- it can also save you thousands of dollars in the future.

Skip the danger and save money by scheduling your chimney inspection today! Fill out the form or give us a call at 972-877-4650

Remember- You Can’t Inspect a Chimney With a Flashlight!

Many people think a glance up the chimney is good enough for an ‘”inspection”. This is not the case however, because a flashlight only lets you see a fraction of the chimney lining. This method can give the homeowner false satisfaction. Using a flashlight can give you an inaccurate reflection of the chimney condition.

On the other hand, a camera inspection allows for a thorough, close up view.
Chimney inspections completed by trained technicians give you more information and peace of mind. At Masters Services, our technicians know exactly what to look for when inspecting a chimney.
